About Cassidy Barnert EST BSc(kin)
Cassidy Barnert believes complementary therapies are fundamental for performance, recovery and quality of life for both horse and rider. With a BSc in Kinesiology and a 2 year Equine Sports Therapy certificate, she brings a detailed understanding of anatomy and physiology to each session.
Her passion for whole body wellness is rooted in her lifelong experience with animals, agriculture and athletics. Cassidy fell in love with horses at a young age and became heavily involved in Pony Club and 4-H. This involvement gave her the opportunity to compete in various disciplines both english and western. Now, she enjoys playing Polocrosse and moving cows on her family's farm.
Cassidy was an athlete on the University of Calgary Wrestling team and played nearly every sport in high school. Here, she realized it takes a village to keep an athlete feeling and performing at 100%. Whether you're a weekend trail rider or a fierce competitor, she believes in treating your horse like an athlete and is committed to working with other equine professionals on your wellness team.
Services available include equine massage, kinesiology taping, and pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF), for horses, dogs and people.
